What started with a Google search turned into a small firm landing on a list to design the new WPX Energy headquarters halfway across the country in Tulsa, OK. Knowing it was an honor to even be asked, we took the leap to position ourselves as the best candidate. The next several years came with as many challenges as it did opportunities; having to navigate design and construction during a global pandemic and a company merger that eventually led to leased office spaces.

In September of 2022, 222 N Detroit Office Building in Tulsa was filled with pride as everyone gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. A lot of admiration, oos & ahhs, reminiscing, and scooter rides around the building were had by our team. We are honored to have had the pleasure of working on such an incredible project that will benefit the City of Tulsa, OK, and become a new landmark in the Historic Greenwood & The Arts District.
