There are two roads that lead to Wrightsville Beach and both pass directly by what was this highly underutilized retail site. Given the demographics of the island, there was a huge and obvious opportunity to upgrade the old retail with a better site plan and a more visible, fresh, and inviting architecture. The final buildings were a combination of new buildings and renovations where the facade received a total makeover. With a new architectural language more appropriate to the site, the owner dramatically upgraded the tenant mix and has become a huge success story for their portfolio.
